Oregon Elk Question

Would any of you Oregon guys know whether it's better to enter this wilderness from the east or west? Any horse considerations/facilities? Thanks men

For having never seen a live elk in my life, then to call in a huge bull to 30 yds., only to split a 3" jack pine with my arrow, (the only obstacle in between me and his vitals) I tell ya.....
