ArrowSlinger is in Orange County, so he'll be posting later! Recently seen photos of Hogzilla's Brother on Chopper's Ranch! This pig is big, mean, and has 4-5 inch cutters! Probably hits the scale at 350lb. Ask Orso or Pigig!

That is a stud monster of a hog. Hopefully there are a few more of them around there. Wouldn't mind him shooting another one of those on film. That would be some exciting footage.

The hog that Lurediver is referring to, hogzilla's brother, is HUGE!! About as big around as ME, and some of you know that's pretty dang big. This sucker has some of the largest tusks I've seen on a pig. Killin' that hog for the video would be awesome.

I better call Chopper and make sure he knows he can count on me as a back up hunter. Just in case.

Does anyone know what the moon phase will be like that weekend?

Just a note.

One of the hogs I missed last weekend was the single largest hog I've ever seen alive.

He definitely had visible tusks, but I didn't get a good look (I was trying to focus on shoulder...not teeth). But even if one of you gets Hogzilla Jr, I can guarantee there's at least one other monster on that ranch (or there was as of this past weekend).

Go away for a day or two and look what i come back to

Yeah, this competition is going to be pretty damn fun....but these Oregon guys are stone cold killers...read Oregoncritters write up on Eastman's Bow Hunting Journal and Shay Mann is a known slayer...these guys are good! But i'm up for the challenge.
<

But once you guys see the pic Chop has of that monster hog, it'll keep ya out in the woods just a bit longer knowing that monster is roaming 'round. Think big, then add another 50 lbs and another inch of tusk...that'll be him.

Shay, i'll send ya some pics and hunting bio this weekend.....but who's this A$$shooter guy, is he on my team?

Hopefully "the crippler" and myself will have the upper hand, i just found a new spot that seems to be holding plenty of pigs, that combined w/ my secret spot, and super secret spot....hell, i've got too many places to hunt. Anyway, lookin' forward to representing my CA brothers and stickin' a couple hogs.

Arrowslinger,
That's one heck of a pig. Good work!!! A couple of those on film would be just about right. Looking forward to meeting your team.... Is Skeets/Skeeks Chopper's buddy?

Welcome back Arrowslinger. See what you have been missing. This should be pretty fun, us Oregon dudes have airline tickets in hand and rental trucks reserved. So we will be ready to roll.

What is the camera status looking like. I believe Chopper has a decent one. I have 2 good ones for Oregon. Just making sure we are covered.

Get me those photos, and i'll post them ASAP. I just posted the Oregon ones, minus Tim, still waiting for his bull photo.

Yeah, Skeeks is pulling somewhere 'round 85lbs on his Mathews....damn near a rifle w/ the FPS that arrow is movin'. Chopper has a camera and Pigig is workin' on getting one (he's got one, but we're trying to borrow a REAL nice one)...we should be good.
Be sure to bring some Judo's w/ you guys...we can video some squirrel carnage mid-day.......we could hire LureDiver to help drag our pigs out, think all he wants for payment is a dozen pink fletchings.

3 out 4 have been there. Jody and I have been there probably a half dozen times. Wil and I were last down there in March for a turkey hunting slaughter. Tim has never been down there. But I think we should be able to put him in a few good areas.

I've never hunted down there with 8 people. The most was only 4. I'm wondering if it is going to get crowded. I know there is a lot of land. But I'm sure some of our favorite hunting spots are the same ones that you guys' have. We will all have to figure out where each group is going to be, to make sure we are not screwing each others hunt.

Keep in mind the goal is not to sabotage the other groups hunt, just to win. It is to make a kick ass promo video for Chopper. Adding the scoring system is just a bonus, and when Oregon wins the contest, we will have one years worth of bragging rights until the next one.

Eight people is tough, 'specially when it's man for man...but since we'll be in four groups of two each...there'll be plenty of ranch for each of us, i know i have my favorite spots and i'm sure Jody & yourself do as well...i don't think it'll be a problem, if so...you guys can arm wrestle Skeeks.

I can't get those stupid hogs off my brain. Shay answered your question. I have been to Chopper's four times and Shay several more. Never had a bad trip. And when you take out the drive, it's going to be awesome.

Can't out drink Skeeks or beat him in arm wrestling. But I'll race him up any of those mountains. No he is a good guy, hung out with him in March. He was the first to show us the Piggy Backpack.

This was a few years ago with my good buddy Ted.

I brought 8 dudes down last summer and it wasn't all that bad. Of course, some just liked to walk roads and some enjoyed just spending time in the cabin. It would be kinda cool to break the ranch into quarters, and rotate the teams through. I know where my favorite spot is, but i've killed hogs all over that ranch....
