Good Luck Team CA.

The Oregon team will give you a good run. We will make it competitive for you.

By the way, Thanks in advance for all of those who are providing grub for us. That is really good sportsmanship.

Unless of course it is laced with a laxative.

See y'all next week. All of the students are gone and i'm starting my three month vacation. Animals are starting to fear their lives throughout the west.

This has been a great thread and hope everyone keeps it going right up until the hunt. I'm headed out today to do some scouting for elk and will be back in civilization on Monday.

Later, Jody

Hey Team OR, what are you guys cookin' us for lunch?
<
Since we're supplying the dinner cook, will you cook our backstraps/chops for lunch...?
Couple lunches and we'll rethink putting the laxatives in your dinner.
<
...............almost forgot, we'll just eat the ground squirrels we kill.

Can't go wrong with that sight. Talk about a tough site. We all shoot them up here. Their headquarters is just 15 minutes from my house. And have worked with Kris and Josh at Spot-Hogg quite a bit. Not only do they make great sights, but they are about the most technical archers on the planet. Know a ton about the ins and outs of a bow setup.

Did you get the 7 pin of the original 5 pin sight. I have the 5 pin, 7 is just a bit too busy for me, and I really don't need to be taking >60 yard shots anyways.

By the way- WHEELS UP IN 3 DAYS !!!
I can't wait. Here in Oregon we can't use mechanical heads, except for turkeys. I just got a couple packs of the Tremor 125s by After Shock Archery. http://aftershockarchery.com/

I've seen some good video of what these heads have done on pigs. Man o Man. They work great, and fly awesome. But I guess it all comes down to shot placement.

I know some guys that REALLY like the Hypeshock heads.
They are amazed at the quick kills they are getting.
They put the arrows in the right places also, but they say they are getting faster kills than expected. They field tested them at a take-and pay place.

i have heard a few nightmares about those on hogs. mostly the blades are not thick enough when bone is contacted. hogs= fixed blade

By the way, which team planted that big ol' yellow thing up in the night sky? That ought to throw things off a touch.

well, tomorrow is the big day when we finally head down. The weather is going to be good and I hope the arrows are flying straight as well.

The "Bowtech" team will definitely be on target this weekend!
