Score is tied at 2 with tracking in progress.
Dolly is down to about 80lbs and working her tail off.
Hogs are everywhere.
you know last time I heard stories like this I found out later everyone was just blind drunk and there was only one hog and everybody shot it and it was one of them 3D types and they still couldn't track it.

This is pretty sad.
It's early Sat AM, I'm downstairs in sleep clothes on the computer w/my wife and kids asleep, and I'm not looking up drunk coeds online.
I'm checking up on a bunch of hunters chasing down hogs.

So far what's the total of crippled hogs for Oregon?
I hope they find them eventually.

Seems like the hunting is wide open.

What an eventful couple of days.
Keep up the good hunting and thanks for the updates.

Bubba, is there anyway you can sneak out some video footage or pics to tease us w/?

this just in from the ranch.
Pigs are a bit more scarce today however the hard work and experience of team california has gotten some of the guys in shooting position. In fact sounds like everyone got shots today however the grade of hog is a bit tougher and they're running off. A.S. put a clean shot into the shoulder of a big boar today and had no effect pig just ran off. No luck on finding any of the crippled hogs from yesterday. some good shots today missed there marks. There's got to be some great stories coming as you don't just get shot opportunities without putting in the work. Chopper say's everyones in high spirits and looking forward to the last day.
At the end of day 2 the score remains tied at 2 with tommorows hunt to be the last.
Let's all hope for good results and one more big good luck to all!
I know they're beat but they're gonna rest later It's down to the wire.

I've been with out a computer these last few days and only been online when I've been able to get to a freinds house or my moms. I was hoping for better news today. I hope tomorrow brings some fresh kills and quick recoveries.

Good luck all.

Franklin pretty much summed it up for yesterday. After a great start on Thursday, there was not much action Friday. Team OR passed on a small pig on Friday evening hunt. It would have been a 12 yard shot.

Sat, things picked up. Saturday Team OR had a nice boar in their sites in Round Springs. Shot went over his back, Wil thinks he might have put the wrong pin on him. Skeeks and Wild man got into some heavy action. Unfortunately, they missed their targets also. AS had a nice shot on a nice pig. Arrow went in about 4-5 inches and broke. No blood. He'll probably heal up and be wiser.

Overall, the teams are tied up at two a piece. They had their games faces on this morning and are hoping to break the stalemate. Whicherever way it ends up, it was a great effort by all. If it ends in a tie, I think no one would be dissapointed considering how much work and fun hey all had up there. The OR team are bunch of great guys. I'd share my campfire with them anytime. Maybe an Elk hunt next year...

Sorry, no pics or video ready to come home. But I think this video will be nice. I'm sure you might be getting some when the guys get back, along with more details on some of these hunts...

I would just like to finish this up by saying that TEAM JUDO would have smoked them both...BTW I helped them polish off the Crown...funny how the action picked back up after Friday night when the crown was flowing again...

Go Team Ca Go...Thanks for the updates Bubba.
If there is a tie at the end of the day, are they going to see who lost the least amount of hogs to determine the winner.

Sounds Like a blast. Cheers to all (Ca and Or).

BUBBA, THERE WILL BE NO TIE! THE RULES STATE THAT THE PIGS WILL BE MEASURED ON THEIR TUSKS, AND THE FIELD DRESSED WEIGHTS! SO ONLY ONE WINNER(HOPEFULLY CALIFORNIA), THEN THEY WILL BE CHALLENGED BY TEAM JUDO!

Well not burst anyone bubble or CRIPPLE any one, But I will let chopper post the results tomorrow at work! This was the best hunt of my life with great people. I have hunted choppers many times and this time I hunted it hard!!! It was a little different having a second person along hunting but it was nice having someone in the canyons with you when it gets dark. We really pulled together as one team just to get our job done which was to make a video and I think we all covered enough tape to achieve this quest. I thank all of the Oregon team for their hospitality and company better luck next time cheers!

Hey Kirk this may have not been ideal but either way it turns our hunt was a big success. I think it was a successful one, aim straight and live right remember high and right!!!

Thanks bro see ya next weekend!

Looks like my paste did not work correctly!!
