SECRET LIVES OF ANIMALS
The Bay Area Discovery Museum will uncover the hidden habitats and secret lives of forest animals – and answer such questions as how mother bats find their babies in a cave and where chipmunks sleep – at its new exhibit, "Animal Secrets," which opens Saturday.
The exhibit, designed for ages 3-8, allows visitors to explore five environments: the stream, the woods, the meadow, the cave and the naturalists' tent.
The museum (557 McReynolds Road, Sausalito) is open 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday-Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday-Sunday. Admission is $10 general, $8 seniors and children ages 1-17; free for ages younger than 1.
