COME OUT FOR TROUT



• The pond at William Land Park, located on Land Park Drive, will be stocked with rainbow trout in preparation for a free fishing clinic to be held 8:30 a.m.-noon Saturday as part of the California Department of Fish and Game's Fishing in the City program.


A loan of rods and tackle will be provided.

• Help fund public education and conservation programs related to steelhead trout at Healdsburg's second annual Wild Steelhead Festival on Feb. 6-8.


Most of the free activities will take place Feb. 7 at Healdsburg Plaza. There will be vendors offering the latest in fishing gear, plus fly-fishing demonstrations, cooking demonstrations and trout ponds.
