Barb Byrne, a docent at Stebbins Cold Canyon Reserve, is offering a free clinic on identifying common wildflowers at 7 p.m. Wednesday at REI's Sacramento store (916-924-8900). The class will be repeated at 7 p.m. Thursday at REI's Folsom store (916-817-8944).
