No, but these stories come out every year. Those that have big money can and will take the big animals every time...
This gets argued about over and over, on many sites, and in my mind just because some can afford to by a Ferrari does not make them a real race driver.

Guides from Utah? Huh? What about our local 3M boys?

Guides from Utah? Like the 3m boys can't git er done. That's weird.
What would they know about hunting california tule elk. Unless it's to judge the best bull for the friend/hunter/client?

And you're right Easymoney these stories do pop up every year. And I for one check in from time to time to see if a pic materializes. Takes forever.

tmoniz,
Stroll over to Monstermuleys.com and drool all you want. They have mainly the really big stuff taken by the big dollar boys, who hire out the best and travel the world all year to "take" their trophies. There was a post recently about a bull taken by a governors tag "Buyer" using guides, outfitters and air support... There is always a load of moaning about this very topic of those who have endless supplies of disposable income buying trophies (inside the fence or on public land) then claiming they "worked hard" for their bull...
That is one of the main reasons I have so much repect for those who frequent JHO because they seem to DIY more and put out their own sweat for their own trophies and then if they don't get the book buck they don't whine...

I know a few of these high rollers. I would say if they have the bucks then it goes for a good cause. At least I hope so. I have a bad habit of holding out when it comes to mule deer. My day will come. And I'll share it with all of you before I sell it to some magazine.

It's like my buddy said @ the RMEF dinner in Reno after seeing all the thousands of $ spend on the Gov. Tag. " Its a bummer that DFG confiscates the animal, because it would be a heck of alot cheaper to pay for a lawyer and the poaching fine".

Too much pissin' & moanin' on MM.com. At this site we seem to help each other with friendly advice and conversation. Best hunting site and forum on the internet IMO.

Triple H took the world record Tule at some point so they get the $$$$$ guys calling them. Without question they do their homework and produce big animals for their clients. I can tell you one thing though, they're not permitted in this area on BLM or NF land...guess they're only hunting on DWP land while in the OV.
