Packin up for Tejon Ranch

Well im gettin every thing packed and loaded up.

Last April at the Chamberland Ranch Traditional Archery shoot I purchaesed a few raffle tickets and was lucky enough to win a fully guided hog hunt at Tejon Ranch. All the proceeds from the raffle and the annunal shoot that is put on goes to Hunt of a Lifetime. I would like to publicly thank Tejon Ranch for donating this hunt, it brought in a lot of cash for the kids.

Any way ill take a lot of pics and hope that some are of a big boar hog. Also i hope the guide that gets stuck with me does not mind leading around a old fat man with a recurveig-laughing::archer green:

Sounds like a great opportunity - congrats to winning this hunt. Specifically a great opportunity to find out how the guides find the hogs. Pay good attention to the spots they take you to and also the ones they check. This will give you the opportunity to hunt on your own later with lots of good intel!

I have been to the North side and there was a Tejon truck with hunters (I suspect guided) which came in AFTER me into the same draw I was hunting. I guess they did not know where I went from my truck - I took it as a compliment.

Good luck up there, those guided hunts are awesome, I went on one last year bowhunting with Stephen and he got me on them quick! The lodging is superb, and the ranch is incredible. Any of the guides can get you into lots of pigs.
