That is what I said. We have all read the accounts of pigs in the orchards around that area so I dont think it is a broken off heard from the El Cap bunch. But, in any scope, I hope there is more action soon. Another few good rain years and we might just have a population that we can be proud of.

Don't even think we need that much rain. You have a year round water supply there with hodges and the river, so that valley will be pretty good, and hopefully some more will spill over to public land. There are also some ponds further up the hill that hold year round water.

You know I kinda thought the same thing, I'd guess around 120


I wonder who is doing the weighing. Remember the first guy to be in the paper with a successful pig kill, near ramone. that one looked the same size, give or take, and they called that one 200-250 also, if I recall correctly.

I have shot a lot of pigs but am no expert. That sow I too would guesstamacate at 120, if that. I hope that was not the only breeding sow in the bunch.
