It was great to hear him tell the story. He has had pigs on his place for a while, but nothing like this guy. he said I was sitting in the stand and I thought a damn bear was coming to the feeder. He's a big ol rough country boy, but his voice was still a lil shakey from the encounter several days ago. Glad ya'll enjoy the pics.
Biological answer could be complications from Elephantiasis or Trichinosis. Both are parasites, worms, that embed themselves in the bone and soft tissue. It can cause deformity similar to that animals lower leg. If that was a hog going on my table I would cook well.
