There will be no mistaking this guy if he makes it thru to next year. That will make an awesome mount if he gets a few years on him. Sorry the pic is so grainy - it was just before dark and I had to tweak it so you could see the double throat patch. The horizon shots are of him and the last one was a different buck the next evening just down the road a ways..

Now that's cool! I wonder if that's a genetic thing that he can pass on or not. Really neat. I hope he lives for awhile either way. If so, good luck when he's a 10+ pointer!

Love that double throat patch!
You see it once in awhile on whitetails, mule deer and blacktail but the double throat patch on Sitka blacktail makes them our prettest deer in my opinion.
