Hello all,

I moving to California (Pleasant hill) from Indiana six years ago and have not hunted since. this year i have decided to hunt.

I do not know anyone in California who hunts and have questions i hope you can help answer.
There are several areas in the Sacramento and delta region of the state i am interested in; advise regarding this area of the state would be awesome.

Is the Pheasant opener in California crowded?

What is the difference between an A area and B and C areas? Crowd control? Or, does California stock birds?

Are my chances just as good at a c area?

I will be hunting alone and have no dog. is there a property more worth my while than another? I am not asking for a honey hole, just some guidance.

Any other advise you would like to share would be appreciated.
It is tough flushing birds with one person so, if anyone is interested in teaming up on a fields in this area let me know.

Regards crustyde
