Hey now just because I am leaving doesnt mean you two can get together and kill all my pigs. Well I am glad to see BigDaddy K may have a hunting partner. He certainly knows how to find those pigs and make the shot count. I still have almost 3 weeks left here at Pendleton, so pigs beware at VAFB I still have an A02 archery buck tag and one Big Boar only tag. I will be back before I head to PA to harvest my share of Whitetails. Maybe I will head up there right now. Got to go.

Lets meet at my house at 1500. We will hit traffic, but we will still hit some pigs.

Yahoo, what a weekend. Hog heaven this past weekend. Going back up in two weeks. Saw a few, but couldn't get any good shots. We will get on them again in two weeks. Hopefully, we have some photos top post then.

Let a really big one go this weekend. We were looking for a meat hog. About 20 minutes till 8, a big old boar walks out of the brush, just as planned. Except he was all by himself. He probably went around 180-190. He was so close could even see the tuskers. The problem was we were about a half mile away from our POV and we were directly down this canyon. Didnt really care to drag him out of there. Was hoping for something about 80 to 90 pounds. But no luck that night. We did see some but the distance was to far. Sometimes I wonder if I should of taken the shot at the big old boar. Maybe next time.

If I'm not mistaken, I think you have to be active or retired military to get on VAFB

Only active duty or retired military can hunt VAFB. Yes you need to buy a base fee stamp at the BX, and then go to the Game Warden, and get your 216 to hunt base.
