I know my pics always suck. I usually forget my camera in the field and only get pics of piles of dead hogs in front of the cooler. I'll search my archives to find a good one for you. I'll prove that even a blind hog finds an acorn once in a while........wait......................I found a pic of a buck taken off my place 2 years ago, tell me if you think it's any better.

He was a dandy! I totally blew that hunt. My buddy spotted it and told me to shoot. All I could see was him from the side with the fork and couldn't tell how wide he was. I let my buddy take the shot. When we got to it, he was almost 22 inches wide and 3 x 2.

That's hilarious... Try this one... Tell the wife her camera is broken, that she needs a new one. Take the perfectly good 35mm pentax or cannon and stick it in your pack. Your clients will love the in field shots... It works out well for all, The wife gets a new one, you've got a decent one, and the client gets nice pics. it worked for me!

Since all my hunts are semi-guided archery only, I'm never with the hunter when they harvest their animal. Usually dark by the time I get them and their animal back to the skinning spot.

on note on the throw away cameras
get the waterproof ones. Sudden rain storm or blood, leaking waterbottle, and the whole film could be ruined.
Just a thought. or a bunch of ziploc baggies. Keeps the dust of the camera.

Nice buck

Yah, Ziplocks work great for a bunch of things, camera, scents, TP, lic. & tags, Skittles, and tabacco juice!
