Yep, gotta fish dish. I was out there last Thursday and released over 10 bass in the 11-14 inch range. I did keep 4 of the larger fish in the 15-16 inch range. All fish were caught in 30-40 feet of water. My trick was to slow fish texas rigging senko worms as well as drop shotting robo worms and hula grubs. Good luck out there 1withthewoods

Thanks, we are thinking of heading up Monday. I don't have a fish finder so I'm at a little bit of a disadvantage but I will break the robos out and do work! I appreciate the help! I'll throw in the rifle and go for a hike too.

I'd be careful running dogs, the last 5 times I've gone up fish and game were up there, 4 guys every time, and I've seen 2 mountain lions. Fish and game is up there looking for the cats and some guy taking guides out there, I guess there crossing into private property and stuff.

It's is banned, you can only use dogs for upland and water fowl. That's why I was sayin I wouldn't take dogs up there.

I retract my statement, you can hunt pigs with dogs in certain areas, dfg has a map out on the areas, I'm not sure if pine flat is allowed, but either way have a good time and good luck.

I've seen people get hassled by officer Grove for running dogs at delilah, and near the dunlap area, might have been private property, but i have seen him put people through the finger. Just be careful, I would hate lose my dog

The only times have have seen a warden hassle guys hunting with dogs is if they are not in a legal area or too many dogs. I have seen the too many dog thing more than anything. I am not sure of the limit per person and I have never used dogs for anything but birds although my Golden loves a fresh pig track and I have to refocus him.

Dogs may still be used for upland, waterfowl, coon, pigs, deer, and other small game. The recent ban (Senate Bill 1221) was only for Bear and Bobcat.
