I am looking to go for pigs this weekend and am looking for a partner in SoCal or Central Cal to meet up and hunt with. Let me know if you want to head out this weekend :pig-laughing:

Sorry, I guess I should have put more detail in my original post.
I am a new hunter looking for a partner (experienced or not). If an experienced hunter wants to help me out, thats great. If another new hunter wants to team up with me to try our luck, thats great too.
I hunt with slugs/12ga shotgun. I was thinking about maybe trying Camp Roberts or maybe doing an un-guided hunt at Bryson Hesperia? Or If someone knows of an area closer to socal that would be ok with me.

(Avatar was from halloween, I dont always look like that haha)

I've heard there is pigs there and the northern part of Los Padres. Might have to check it out

Well I've spent a lot of time up Chuse Ridge their a month ago like every few days morning and evening, it's only 30 to 40 min away from me and I saw one bird hunting saw sines but haven't seen any sense, think they moved down the mountain from 5000ft to warmer altitude but haven't been much else looking, this weekend I got a invite to get some gobblers for t day

Best bet for public land hunting in Central California is Camp Roberts and also Fort Hunter Liggett. There are wild hogs resident in both Military bases due to the availability of cover, food and water..............plus the military restriction on poaching and trespassing. In other words...........the wild hogs enjoy a sort of semi-protected climate inside the military base. Google up Camp Roberts and Fort Hunter Liggett at their official websites and also here in JHO.......there are a lot of anecdotes and stories about hunting hogs inside those military bases. In the past years I have been to both bases a lot.............though not having seen a single live hog out in the hills and brush........but I have seen a lot of harvested dead hogs hanging from the meat hooks at the skinning areas.

Hey Dirty Dave sign up for Liggett if you can do the year pass do it. It pays for itself in 3 trips.

XD,

I'm back! Thanks Jessee.

Got your new phone number. Who is using the old one? Got a call from the old number but the dude on the other line would not want to talk.

What will you be running after at FHL? Is our ol' gang of fiesta hunters still intact?
