Yes sir that is a problem, on my other piece of land I had the same problem but i was fortunate enough to get a plot map and a metal detector and find the pins!! Your neighbors may have had this part done for you. Do you have the county surveyors map??
As to cutting this place in we need to get at it before it gets hot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i knew i should have went and talked to the realtor, dude you got that cheap, i seen it listed today as sold but it was half the price as when i went and seen it.
Yes, I would like to do some dozer work around the property lines and fence it. However, I found out that the land has not been surveyed since the 1800's, so to accuratly survey it, and have the surveying recorded, the survey crew will have to go out on to other land to establish the corners! And that is going to be big bucks!
I sell properties like that in central cal and my brother in northern cal. PM me if you need advice.
Also I agree on the post about using a metal detector for the boundries. It is a possibility however a have sold a lot of rural proerties that were never officially marked. Try to get the gps co-ordinates first, then go out with the metal detector. That is mountainois terrain and an official survey will be a pretty penny.
Just give Pigig a chainsaw, he'll level that whole damn place in 'bout 13 beers. I'd be more than happy to come out and shoot a pig at each corner, that way the smell & bones will let ya know where the boundaries are.........yeah, i know...i'm a giver!
