Pig Hunting Tejon, right now on OLN

not sure if you west coasters get the same OLN scheduling as me..but they have a show on hunting Tejon right now. Its kinda cool to watch it, because until now, I had only read about it here.

Saw it. I liked the footage of the several they shot and they just got up and took off. Tough animals. Got to love the January hunting in 2-feet of snow. Makes me want to go back already.

lan-lord have you hunted Tejon yet? I am lucky enough to be 20-minutes from the front gate of the ranch. I've hunted it for pig twice now and can't wait to get back.

Just checked on OLN its called life in the open tonight at 10 pm next showing for here in california. Any hog hunting video gets me fired up.

So a couple years back, I'm on a cruise in the Caribbean. It's early afternoon on a day at sea, and I'm a little bored, strolling the decks. As I walk into the "Sports Bar", they've got ESPN2 on the big screen. I have a seat, order up a drink, the commercial ends and the program comes back on. Right there, a couple thousand miles away, is Tejon Ranch and they're hunting hogs!

After about 10 minutes, I found myself wishing I was there, humping it up and down those ridges with a pack and a rifle instead of spending my week in the decadent luxury of a cruise ship. Is that sick?

I'm gonna have to break down and sign up to hunt that ranch. Not because of the OLN show but Speckmisser is always going on about that ranch. There must be something to it I can't imagine what it is.
270,000 acres, Hogs, Deer , Elk, bobcats, Hills Valleys ... He must own stock or something.

I saw it last night. It was pretty good. That was amazing how that pig on his winter hunt got back up after it got shot pretty good. But he redeemed himself on his spring hunt. Pretty good viewing.

Anybody who missed the show yesterday I believe it will be on Sunday (3/26) morning and also Tuesday (3/28) morning at 7:30 PST. Too bad it only lasted for roughly 10 minutes but it was still pretty cool....
