i always wonderd why no one has a hard core wild pig hunting show with all the money time and intrest that hunters spend year after year, hopefully it wont be a let down. dont get me wrong because i used to be a whitetail freek, but the one thing we dont need is another whitetail freek show, theres more then enough of those shows on tv already, same ol stuff most of the time 20 yrd. shot from a tree, whoopi how exciting, if ya know what i mean.........tra

Yes, it'll be great to see a new show that ISN'T a whitetail show. I love hunting whitetails, but it's a lot harder than the shows make it seem. Pigman should be interesting. He's an odd cat and that might be what kicks this off for everyone. Finally, someone willing to hunt some HOGS!

I like the show, it's diffrent than the normal deer and a little more edgy/new school than the regular stuff, Last night pigman shoot a nice 350 approx pig with a .470 pistol and is amased that the pig tore off like nothing. They actually show some of the blood trail. Check it out

Someone from I think it was the Discovery Channel called me a couple years back wanting some suggestions for a pig hunter who had personality for a TV show about hog hunting. I gave them a couple names and never heard back from them.

oldskool - Do you have the full digital tier? Sportsman channel is 405 on my comcast (Sacramento and northern foothills). I believe it is on again tomorrow at 7PM.

I've got the full package I'm pretty sure. we get outdoor channel, haven't seen the sportsman channel listed but I'll check again. thanks

Sorry oldskool - I spent a little time researching this. It is NOT carried by Comcast in your area. I was also not able to find it on the (legal) online sites like hulu. It looks like they just now are adding it into the HD tiers, so it might eventually show up for you.

As an FYI, it looks like it is carried in your area by AT&T U-Verse and DirecTV

we got rid of comcrap and direct tv and now have att u-verse and it is awesome! so many more channels to choose from and better monthly price then the other 2 providers. direct tv was beggin us not to switch, they knew we where getting a way better deal with a whole lot more channel choices that they were charging extra for, i am super happy now i got more channels then i no what to do with and all the outdoor channels too.........tra

Thanks for the heads up on this show Spectr17. I caught one episode and I am liking it. I watch a lot of the hunting shows but I get glued when I see a pig show.
