Before I tell you guys where I took these pictures, which is only wild pigs, can you tell me from these pictures if these are pigs or javalina. I'm thinking some one brought these over(javalina) from arizona or something, I know that the pictures are poor, but I have seen plenty of pigs upclose, their attitutude, and mentalities and I had myself totally convinced that these were not wild boar. These pigs are about 30-40 pounds and I was amazed at how much hair they had, which lead to me not believing that they were not pigs. There were 4-5 in the group, all the same size and that's it, no big sow or other pigs. I watched them for about 30 minutes.

Their face was very narrow, with visible teeth(when they opened their mouths) and like I said before they were very hairy. With a very, very straight tail. I was within 10 yards of them.
I"M CONFUSED ON THIS ONE!!!!!!!

Thanks

Kinda looks like the railroad tracks out near Pismo,Nipomo, Oceano, or Guadalupe to me.

Cant tell what they are. If that is the area, I say PIGS.

sorry it took me so long for me to get the second picture up, I had a bunch of trouble getting it up, and It's still too small. You'r close but not quite. I've seen plenty of pig in Arroyo Grande area and they look nothing like this so that's my dilemma.
You might be able to blow this pic up and see it better.?

It is hard to make the critters out. Could you open this image up in "Paint" under "Start" "Accessories" (on a PC) and circle the critters with bright red so I can make em out? You can also resize and zoom in that program too.

Hey CAjackrabbitWCP,

From the looks of it in the second pic, it looks like a hog. Can't really make out the first pic.

It has to be hogs...aint no javelina around there....I live in Shell Beach and it looks like what I drive through to go surf in Guadalupe. If it is the same area I'd seriously doubt that its Javelina...dont they like dry desert areas anyways?

EDIT: I just examined the closer picture. It looks exactly like a chocolate colored pig to me. We caught a small chocolate pig this weekend that was about 10lbs, was the same color as the pig pictured above. You can clearly see his ear, shoulder, back leg and tail. Its a hog

I know that they are probably pigs. I took these pictures off of VAFB this weekend. These have to be the harriest 30 lbers I've ever seen.

I was just examineing the possibility if someone brought them over and put them on the base for their own amusement.
