Pine Flat

Well Myself and Theseacow went up to Pine Flat yesterday. We were hunting in a area off of the lake actually on the river where I have seen pigs before. We got to the area to park about 10 minutes before we could head out and shot the shit. We then started the hike in towards the lake. We saw lot's of deer, but that was it. I even tried to call some predators in with no luck. It was about 70 degrees and a perfect day in the foothills, but no pigs. We headed back to my house had dinner and drank some beer that Theseacow made so overall it was a great day.

The one most important lesson learned on this trip was if you are 15 years older then your hunting partner you need to make sure and get a good night's rest.

I gotta agree thats a must. Them old guys ain't about taking there time. When there hunting there hunting.

Yes it was a beautiful day. Once we got out of the fog, and into the hills. The sun was shining and the deer were everywhere.

Even though we didnt see any pigs, just putting in the time on a nice day can be really rewarding.

Yes shane, but you can work on a boat motor like no one's business. So if I had to pick I'll take your trade. I also taught you how to hunt and you have shoot more piggy's then me so I am not worthy.
