And here was my response to that: "I am all good with that; after all, I have a reputation to maintain."

Frankly, IMNSHO, hunting is so much more than kill pictures. It's about the experience, sharing it with a good friend or friends, what you learn, the comradery, and the camaraderie like here on this site, and the list goes on and on. That kill picture you want so badly, really means very little; while the story and information within the story passes so much more along than any kill picture possibly can. So, if it never happened, I for one am completely good with that.
Then why lead us all on to believe you had? If you want to tell a tale of your hunting trip do so but to make a never ending thread is just plain wrong. Oh well no harm I guess. After all we all know Bruce can't fill a tag on public land unless he shells out some $... lol

I kind of agree with the rest of the guys. I don't need a hero shot with a dead hog, but this thread just got very strange and almost pointless. I was interested, but it doesn't seem to be making much sense to me. Maybe I'm missing something, but whatever the case, my interest is gone.

Cool, so is mine; and I'd venture to guess that when Bruce gets unburried form work and life, and does make it back to this thread, well, he'll feel the same way.

I thought it was a good thread because a lot of folks just don't understand the work and perseverance that goes into public land hogs. A lot of work happens before the shot.

I can't speak for Bubble but the pissy comments posted just killed my interest in this report. It takes considerable time and effort to write a descriptive hunt report and with my business and personal life maxing out my free time I just said "F it." Wasn't worth the trouble.

I got you big dog. I have not been around a lot as of late. Sorry to see guys are not acting as they should. I for one always love to read the story and learn all I can from it. I hope all is well with you and your family. I look forward to reading about more of your trips once you stop working so dam much. Guess I will go see if Andy has any good post I have not read. :panic:

Wife had 15lb tumor removed, daughter had gallbladder removed but still has same symptoms and my brother had multiple heart attacks and strokes. Can't catch a break. It's exhausting.

Bruce and Bubble. Your write up and experience was awesome! You truly can make one feel as if they were there with you during the hunt. Thank you for taking the time out of your busy lives for sharing it.
