We had a relative go missing around Thanksgiving 2021. His vehicle was spotted by a hunter in June 2022 in a remote area of Mendocino National Forest. A search team located his jacket, wallet, and watch a few hundred feet from the car which was stuck. He is 83, disabled, 30 year US Army vet. We are not expecting to find him living. The Sheriff advised us that they would post signs alerting hunters in the area, however we have learned to dismiss their promises. We're asking hunters in the area this year to be aware his remains might be somewhere near. He is not capable of hiking far, if at all.
The car was located near these coordinates:
39.922806, -122.920972
The vehicle was recently towed from there by the forest service
His name : Francisco Tyquiengco
Here's some info on his case:
Please contact us if you find anything. Or law enforcement of course

Sorry to hear about your missing relative. There are many people that go missing in our forests, even experienced hikers/hunters. There are many YouTube channels, David Paulides 411, Missing Enigma, Missing Persons Mysteries, Rusty West and many more that focus on people missing in our forests. Some are found years later and some never at all. Some of the missing are found miles from where they disappeared leaving searchers baffled. There doesn't appear to be a common pattern. Try and get in touch with these channels. They have large followings and they might be able to help. Good luck.

We did look into that adventures with purpose group when it was suggested that he might have driven into the swampland of hwy 680. But then we discovered that the sighting of his car on the benicia bridge happened long before he went missing. It was an act of pure buffoonery by the MP unit, because the date on the cite was the first thing all of us noticed when we finally got it in our hands. We spent two days searching that area in person for nothing.
Right now, the best lead we have is the area his car was found. Either he got stuck, tried to walk out, and died, or someone staged the area to make it look like that.

We are still hoping someone comes across our missing uncles remains in that area. Please keep an eye out for bones or shoes. the shoes were not in the items discovered near his vehicle. What was found was shirt, underwear, pants, leather jacket, wallet, watch, mask, and car keys
