POMA Adds Incentives to Membership Benefits

Traditional outdoor sports industry professionals who have been waiting for another great reason to join the Professional Outdoor Media Association (POMA) need not wait any longer.

Journalists, industry professionals, corporations and organizations that join POMA before July 15, 2008, have a chance to win one of three incredible prizes in the "208 in 2008" membership campaign:

Focused on professionalism in communications at every level, POMA is the traditional outdoor sports communicators' organization. Members specialize in fishing, shooting sports, hunting and trapping.

Since POMA's launch in June 2005, more than 400 communicators and Corporate Partners (CPs) have joined the organization. Members include individual media members (editors, writers, photographers, broadcasters and publishers) and industry firms/organizations, aka CPs.

Networking with POMA's media members and CPs is a primary organizational benefit. Other membership benefits, such as Money Line - a market and job listing service - and TeleSeminars - focused business enhancement sessions via teleconference - are unique among communicators' organizations.

POMA Mission: The Professional Outdoor Media Association is a group of individual communicators and Corporate Partners who believe in, defend, support and promote the heritage of hunting, fishing, shooting and traditional outdoor sports through writing, photography and other means. By doing so, members hope to educate the general public about these sports and encourage more participation in them.
