Full story to follow when I am rested. Personal best...700lb boar w/ 8" cutters taken by bow (sorry for bad image...hoping another camera got a better angle). First arrow placed in left shoulder penetrating armor and striking vitals at 26 yards, second arrow placed thru front shoulder at 10 yards while charging me. Very exhilerating stuff! The two broadheads were an inch apart inside the heart.

Did the boar actually weigh 700 pounds on the scale, or are you using the scoring method where "pounds" are added based on the inches of tusks? And was each tusk 8 inches or is that the total of two 4 inch tusks? Impressive boar!!!

No...that's the actual weight in lbs. 701.1 to be exact.

Awesome!! North of Kingman? No kidding. There's pigs all over the Topock marsh, but didn't know they were up there too.

My dad lives in Kingman. Was this public land or private ranch? Congrats!

Forgive the delay...everyone is gathering here for a Dad's Day BBQ and I haven't had time to write the story yet. Being the host sucks...clean, fetch groceries and alcohol, cook, play bartender & waiter, then clean again. Faint.gif

Please dont try to pass this off as a wild boar, it's clearly a Hampshire bacon pig from a pig farm.

No...clearly it is not a "wild boar" (as in Eurasian or Russian) just a feral uncastrated male pig kinda boar. I'm finally writing the story (guests left at midnight) and will post the whole crazy thing soon.

Yup. I will probably get a timeout for this but...why is this in the "hunting" forum :pig-laughing:
