I noticed in todays San Jose Mercury there's an ad with an 831 385-8283 number that is advertising pig/deer/turkey hunts unguided on private property. When you call the umber you get a message for the hunt club. This sounds to good to be true. I'm wondering if this is Larry trying to continue the scam? What do you all think? This number familiar to anyone?

Forward these to the DFG, there used to be a warden looking into Hamiltons scams.

It amazes me with all the laws we have here in Ca that they can't find one to put this guy behind bars. I go into a store and steal a candybar and I go to jail. Good ol' Larry however, year after year, rips people off and nothing happens to him. I wonder just how many people he's ripped off over the many years and for how much money. This guy should be DFG's most wanted, not us law abiding hunters.

Local warden is John Foster
jfoster@dfg.ca.gov

Flood the paper too with calls and emails since they allow him to run his scams. No ad, no hunts.

Well today I got the Mercury New's paper, and saw the Larry Hamilton add,and I took it withme to work, and then stopped by the DF&G in Monterey, and left it for the game warden,John Foster,he is the guy that was looking into the wrong doing's of Larry,so maybe with alittle luck, they just might catch the SOB,and put him away for along while.

I emailed John today myself and I'm hoping to hear back from him as well. Bringing the ad to them personally though is the best way to go. nice work.

I had this thought, if everyone here would call Larry and tie him up 10-15 minutes asking questions and did this every couple weeks, Larry wouldn't have time to scam people.

Call now, call often.

Dialing now.

What’s the scam? I never heard of him before. Does he just take your $ and run or does he drop you off on a property with no game.

A little of both. Larry just got popped for guiding/outfitting without a license. He dances around the guiding laws. You call up, pay several hundred dollars to Larry for a hog hunt and when you show up at the general store in Bee Rock to meet Larry, he does a no show. If Larry does show up he takes you out to a piece of land he may or may not have permssion to hunt and turns you loose since he doesn't want to be caught guiding without a license. Snake oil salesman at his finest.

Just call up that number every week and string Larry along. Keep Larry busy chasing shadows instead of ripping off hog hunters. You're entrance into hog heaven will then be assured.
