My weapon of choice is a Yugo M-48 in 8mm Mauser topped with a Leopould Compact 3x9. factory ammo is under powered, so I handload with 180 gr. Nosler ballistic tips. It worked well last weekend when I took my first hog, a very large sow. Speckmisser was'nt kidding about the ballistic tips. The exit hole was about the size of my fist and took out a good chunk of two ribs. No sidearm yet, probably a good idea.
