Wow,Awesome pics and sheds once again!!
<

We've both got 47 sheds for the year, but I'd bet you've got 10 times the inches of antler that I have. And I won't even touch the quality issue.
<
I would love to live in your boots for just one day and find some sheds like you find daily.WOW!!

The big typical 4 point went 75 3/8

I thought it would score higher, but it's not that heavy. No complaints though....I'd still take him.

Hey fellas!

I've been absent from the shed forum for a while, so I have a little catching up to do, although not as much as would have liked.........the snow situation isn't helping things.

I went out last weekend, and found 3. One was a match to one I found about a month ago, but the snow was still real deep in this area.

Today, I went out to an area that had some better snow melt and more bare ground. I ended up with 9 sheds total today, mostly 2-3 year old medium sized whitetail, but there were a couple small MD and a very small WT in the mix as well.

So....47+3 = 50 + 9 (today) = 59

Good to see some of the snow is finally shrinking for you! How do you do in comparison to your dogs? Do they find more than you or visa-versa? Hopefully i'll have a lab to help me out by next year...gotta clear it with my landlord. That little guy in the last pic was a good find. Congratulations on your finds

Kurtish - I find more than the dogs do, usually 100% more. Neither of them are trained for sheds, they just like getting out for a 7 hour walk in the hills.

The Black one is mine, and he's 8. I did do some training with him, and he has picked up sheds on his own before. The problem is I live in a spot that doesn't have good access to traing grounds, where I can go every other day to up-keep the training. I pretty much gave up on that, and don't care too much since he has fun eithir way.

Foss - The action shots of me walking up to the shed are stills taken off video footage from my mini dv camera. I've been collecting shed footage over the last 4 years, and plan to put together a shed video for next year.....anyone interested in a copy?

Great finds Pred, I really like the idea about the video camera idea! If you ever make a video I would love to see that. I myself make hunting DVD's and maybe we could swap some time. I have everything form bear hunting, turkey, bowhunts, to bobcat, mountian lion, and goose hunting. Also, lots of shinning of big Wisconsin bucks. They probably won't impress you from looking at your shed journal but it's something to watch anyway.

the small horn you have is one of your "cooler" looking finds IMO. I like some character in the antler, but you've topped the charts with the amount of bone you've collected
