Hi Pork Chopper- and everybody else! 30.00 a night per person JHO special.
Dogs are allowed here at the Resort. FHL only allows voice trained dogs for bird hunting... I don't know about dogs on FHL now that Upland is over, but you can sure call them at 831-386-2677 Wed-Sun. Please let us know what you find out.

Thanks.

dang!
I thought I was going to be able to go but I just received an arrival notice on a vessel coming in and working Feb 13-18 just my luck.
What a drag!
This is really hitting home now. I haven't been able to long range fish for 3 years and now it's cutting into my hunting time too!
Someday I'll get to go on one of these trips.
Good Luck guys

We're open to any night, but Sunday night would probably be best for us. Have no idea what time we'll be heading in - kind of depends on what's happening. We're looking forward.

JHO guys staying at the campgrounds - I think there's maybe 20 of you, you guys come too ...
We had 2 inches of rain total so far here this past weekend so be careful driving out there.

Perfect, rum goes with everything! Appetizers would be wonderful. We get my friend Tami's help that weekend, she's helping with food prep. that night so you don't have to worry, I think we'll all be very busy out huntin' it up. I'll hang the Nascar banner in your bedroom, you'll feel right at home... My daughter is a big fan, who's your favorite driver?

What is the terrain like at FHL? Next weekend will be my first trip to FHL and I am not sure what to expect. I have hunted Los Padres before and have camped and hiked throughout the Monterey area so I have a basic idea but would like any insight from you FHL pros.

The 10 day forecast looks like it will be a bit cloudy but no rain next weekend so I will probably end up camping at the fort. Is there any dinner or services to get a warm plate of grub after the hunt? Thanks again for the info

FHL has got just about everything when it comes to terrain, vast rolling hills- wide open with oaks, then you've got the steep brushy stuff with tunnels. I do know where you can have dinner on Sunday night... right here with all of us at Jesses & Bryson Resort, JHO mexi night! Roll in here Friday night if you feel like it, we've got some good maps and Jesse has the maps at the top of this in the green bar under Hunting Info under FHL
to get to the Resort go to brysonresort.com, directions are there on the website
We got about 2" of rain this weekend, it's a little slippery/sloppy out there.
Jesse has all the info under FHL on places to eat too...

Oh man, just 5 more days and we'll be there at FHL. I can't wait. I've read a few of the previous post and it looks like there is going to be a good turn out there this coming weekend. Me and about 6 others will be camping out at the campgrounds at FHL. I've been going for the past 4 years or so and have yet to get me a piggie, maybe this coming weekend. Even if I don't it will be great just to be there.

Oh, before I forget, thanks to BHRHUNTS for the weather report. Take from me it does get slippery out there in those TA's. Even the roads that look like they may not be slippery, believe me they are. Anyway I hope to meet other JHO'ers there. Good luck to all of you this weekend.

Bryson Resort reporting in, everybody is all tucked in their cabins, morning meeting at 5:00 AM (YIKES) in the game room for strategic planning of multiple hawg massacres. The weather has been to die for here, 77 degrees today and absolutely beautiful, roads are looking tight! I will report in after a whole day (or two) of hunting. Cheers

Any updates? Sorry everyone up there I had to bail and stay home to get this roof fixed. It's gonna rain tonight and I had some damage from the last rain I had to shore up. What a mess. I'm bumming now since I was hoping to be chasing some pigs and bobcats this weekend.

Anybody get a pig yet?

Anybody stuck yet?

Anybody wounded like the Tejon hunt?
