Hello all,
I hunt pretty much anything I can, but focus mostly on waterfowl. I hunt all over the state when I can, as for a home refuge, well I have one I would call my home, but don't ask me which one cause I am not telling. :mooning:
Had to try to get the word out about that lost Lab, so I didn't take the time to make an intro for my first post.
I am not a native Californian, grew up in Illinois (North Western IL to be exact) hunted rabbits, deer, pheasant, and turkey mostly. Didn't get into duck hunting until around 2003 or so, and didn't hunt very much starting out. It's hard to learn the ropes on your own and although I did make friends with a guy with a blind, it still was only hunting a few days a season. Then in 2007 I hooked up with some guys from San Jose that were serious refuge rats. I started shooting skeet with them and killed more ducks in my first 3 refuge hunts than I did in the 4 season's before that combined.
I guess that's enough for now. Look forward to participating on this forum.
