If it's the place I'm thinking of, there might be a few more there than you think. A long time ago I hunted some quail there on opening day, and we pushed 2 pigs out of their hides. We even killed one.

By all means - mum's the word. If you tell people, it'll be combed over so fast it'll make your head spin.

Keep it quiet. I think I know where you were and others probably do too. It is a small area and the game will go to the less pressured private land sorounding it if more people find out about it.

FWIW - I'd take down the pic showing the terrain, most locals will be able to tell the spot by the pic. Nice hog though, luckily you had a boat. That's not a fun hike back after a long day with just a shotgun, couldn't imagine humping out a hog. Congrats, that's right in my stomping grounds.

Yeah, I'd agree with taking that pic down. I would almost be willing to bet i know exactly where that is..... I've seen several pigs there at night.
