PWC safety course online

The California Department of Boating and Waterways is now offering its personal watercraft safety course online at http://www.dbw.ca.gov.
The course includes an online exam. Students receive an instantaneous grade rather than a certificate of completion. The online course does not satisfy court-mandated requirements for those convicted of moving violations who must complete and pass a boating safety class.
The online course covers the structure of a personal watercraft, legal requirements, operating guidelines, personal safety, navigational rules and aids, accident prevention and rescue.
