Quail & Chucker

Has anyone ever hunted the Owen’s Valley area for quail/chucker? Such as the Big Pine & Lone Pine areas specifically?

it’s probably a good time to go scout and find out . Last time I was out there bird numbers were super low. Quail specifically. I havnt chased chukar there

I’m thinking since we got a good amount of rain this year, it might be good. Never hunted in that area so i thought I’d ask on the forum.

Should definitely be better than when I hunted there. Most of the state should have good numbers this year. That area is beautiful regardless and lots of Open land to explore. Good luck to you. I am looking forward to chasing some quail myself next weekend
