I recently moved back to San Diego, California and I wanted to do some quail hunting before the season ended on the 31st of January. I headed out today to search for some spots that might hold mountain quail in the Cleveland National Forrest using the onX app, but was unsuccessful in finding a good location.
I'm wondering if anyone has had any success near the Noble Canyon trail (away from the actual trail) or in Bear Valley?
Unfortunately I haven't met anyone here that actually goes hunting and the ranger station is currently closed due to COVID, so any tip helps!
