I'm reading the CO regs, and it looks like if I want a preference point only, I just have to submit the price of a cow tag, rather than the full price of a bull tag.

Does anyone know for sure if this is correct?

My bro and I are waiting on a response from the CO DOW on this, but of course I'm getting impatient.

Gracias

Thats the way it was last year. You just front the price of the cow tag.

Yes, this is the way I read it too.

Only the price of a cow tag is needed to get a point.

I found in the regs on page 32 under Preference
Point Hunt Code that it states something close to the
effect of:
to get an elk point you must submit at least $253.25,
which is the cow tag price.

If you put in for a bull tag on your second or third
choice, you need to submit the full bull price.

Thanks for the info, fellas.

Even though you get the money back in a couple of months, it sure is easier to deal with $250 rather than $500.
