Rabbits near Yreka, Ca???

I will be heading to the Yreka, Ca area in a week or so for about 10 days. Im looking to hunt some bunnies, I figured the East side of highway 5 somewhere near Montague, Hornbrook or Grenada???? Any ideas or tips??
