Record Tule Elk

Anyone see article in Western Outdoor News this week of the 320 SCI class Tule Elk taken last fall out of Shandon, California.

Really nice bull taken with a .50 Thompson using open sights at 120 yards.

On the next page is a nice shot of the new DFG Director quail hunting.

I just got back from a hunting show in Arizona and I picked up a video that says it has that hunt on it.. Haven't watched it yet. I'll let you know how it is. The video is called BIG GAME II by Buckmasters.

I hunted with him and his partner at their lease ranch in Julama (sp) (west of Santa Yanez) a couple years ago for pigs. Central Coast Outfitters.

They put on a good hunt for pigs. Alfred must have been drawn for Elk on their lease out of Sheldon up near Paso Robles (east) for that hunt.

Very big elk.

Great job and congrats to him.
