Got back Friday night from WY... Lost my camera in the pack the griz messed with... Grizzlies... ARRG! At least I got most of my meat out and no scars... Made me change my pants... Really! Totally a butt kicker and today is the first morning I woke up feeling good! Going to work for a few days, then off to NM 16A to look for a bigger one ;) I'll have almost a week to scout, have the second season there.. Might be my first ever two elk year...

Hey, I'd like to hear more about it. What happened with the Grizzlies and what unit were you hunting?

Nice elk - now let's hear the story - sounds very interesting. Glad that you're out safe - and sounds like you will have another story from NM!!

regardless of the story nice rack. Based upon the length of the fourth I'd say that bull was somewhere in the 320 range no?

Sorry for the no reply... Family member's health trumps hunting, got a call from the hospital the day after I posted... It will all be OK, just a lifetime task for my son, type 1 diabetes, found out first month away to college. I'll get to the elk story sometime...
