I was sure I replied to this last night, hope it wasn't something else. I'm in the extreme Northwest part of the state. Things have been slow up here. I've been out a couple times, with no luck. And now we just got blasted by snow this last week so things are going to be real difficult from now until spring.
The bucks I've seen around central WI still have their head gear but I gotta think they'll be dropping soon. Of course with all the snow we just got we won't find them until June when the snow melts!
I have seen two bucks that shed for sure, been out looking a bit without any luck. We should get a JHO WI shed hunting group together once the snow melts a bit!
Shed_head, those are some great sheds from last year!
I'm planning on doing a bit of shedhunting tomorrow at a local spot.
I'm by eastern Mn, friend found matched 150 class. Another friend found 50 inch 5 pt. Seen few deer with holes in their head! We got blasted with snow like the others mentioned but it is melting fast.
