RMEF dinner in Palo Alto, CA 05/22/04

I'm fortunate to have been offered a free ticket to this event (my buddy can't make it). Any of you local elk hunters (or wanna-be elk hunters like me) going to this dinner (Specmisser, BDB, Campcook50, Rancho Loco, etc...)?

I have no other info other than I've heard these dinners are supposed to be pretty darn fun, the raffle prizes are sweet, and a lot of money gets raised for the RMEF.

So, my buddy that gave me the free ticket sent me scans of the flyers for this event. It's not in Saratoga, but rather Palo Alto. Below is the flyer and application form.

So far it's me, Campcook50, and my lovely girlfriend Brandy that will be attending... anybody else? If we register before April 22nd we can reserve a JHO table (plus there are additional raffle ticket benefits to early registration).

Yeah, several guys have told me that the Tejon weekend trip coincides with the RMEF dinner.

That said, if any of you Bay Area guys (and/or gals) are not going to Tejon, you should really think about this dinner. I just got off the phone with one of the organizers and so far reservations haven't been what they hoped for... this means a few things... if you do sign up and there's not a lot of last minute shows, you will have EXCELLENT odds at winning a gun, hunt, or something else that's sweet in the raffle. Second, if you're a high-roller and intend to bid on any of the premium hunts in the auction, you might just get the deal of a lifetime.
