How was the show? 3 of my hunting buddies were heading up on Friday to spend the weekend. Last year, 1 guy dropped over $30,000 at the dinner, bidding on hunts. Every hunt he won was successful with no problems.
I was invited to go, but I know my limits and temptation would have got me in big trouble.

The show was great as usual. After reading about your buddy dumping 30,000, I feel lucky. I only dumped 300.00 on a new tri-pod with pistol grip, really slick setup.

Was a good show until someone let go some pepper spray in the convention center on Sat. IDIOTS!

Great show. having some jewelry made from the ivories from my first elk. Something for me and something for the wife. Watched the bid on the Anheiser Busch colt and it went for $20,000. Lots of coughing in a couple of isles after the pepper spray deal. Not sure what happened. Nobody seemed to know when I heard about it. Sure wish I had brought the money for the tent deal Davis Tent Co. had. Looked like a nice deal.

I have a Davis Tent and can attest to their quality. That show special was a great deal, one of my buddies was thinking about it too.

14X16 tent, sod cloth, connectors (you provide poles), stove jack, zippered door, ridge pole sleeves, rope and tensioners and steel stakes for $775.

Glad I missed the pepper spray on Sat. Did the auction thing Thur/Fri and the volunteer dinner Fri nite. Terri Clark was the surprise and she put on a great show.
