I have eaten Monterey bay Sand dabs are such a great breakfast fish to cook up, yum yum!…FTG

How deep is your drop where you got them? Down here the fleet fishes 2-300 plus feet. What is your favorite eater of the rockfish?

Some pinnacles exist within a mile of shore where I have caught legal lings in less than a 100. Spot passed down from old salts to young salts. The boat I used to fish would not even anchor…just a drift so the privates couldn’t get a gps. Also, spot is so nasty they didn't want to lose an anchor. Memories…..hahahah!

120-180’ of water drifting. I use a jig on bottom and feather on top. Favorite is vermilion
