My question is: Why did it go left, then go back right? Wouldn't you think it would continue left towards the woods to get out of sight. Pretty neet footage.

Very definitely a man's gait or walk mannerism. Not a Sasquatch or BigFoot. The leg movement and the arm swing is not beastly enough, instead it is too manly striding. A man in a beastly suit. Lots of them at Hollyweird, no need to suitup. 'Nuff said.
