I plan on getting myself a rifled shotgun for pig hunting (FHL TA29, Camp ROberts TA6.7 & Lake Sonoma) is that rifled barrel only meant for slugs or can I use regular shot-shells for say turkey?

my choice is the Remington Model 11-87™ Sportsman® Deer

You can use a rifled barrel for shot, but your results may not be ideal... The only way to find out is to get it out and pattern it. I've got a rifled barrel for an 870, and it kicks out a fairly wide spread. Not sure what the choke equivalent would be for this one, but it looks pretty open. Could be good if I were hunting pigs and quail, but wouldn't want to use it for ducks, doves, or turkeys.

Fortunately, a second barrel isn't all that expensive. If you want to multi-task your shotgun, that's the way to go. Get one barrel with choke tubes for all your normal shotgunning, and the rifled barrel for slugs only.
