Thanks for sharing your wild pig hunting adventure it's a good write up. Fyi I always bring 1 or 2 more pair of back up boots when I go hunting especially on a multi day hunt.
If u want to post pics with ease with your note 4 use the Tapatalk app and and u will get jesseshunting web page that u can always log on and have at the touch of your fingertips to keep up with whats happing or post up or post pics, works like charm ....tra

Looks interesting. Thanks for posting those pics. It's very similar to joice island in terms of terrain. Bummer you got skunked. I'm a little miffed that people who got drawn didn't show up. There are hundreds of guys that would kill to get drawn on that hunt, and people get drawn and decide they're too "tired" to hunt it. Ridiculous. I have to give you credit for having the resolve to go it alone in that marsh. It's not an easy hunt by any means.
My niece and nephew drew Joice Island last spring, and killed 3 pigs. My brother and I drew for the following weekend. We decided not to hunt, since we had 3 pigs in the freezer. I made darn sure that I called immediately so that CDFW could contact some alternates... It's pretty crappy when people "take away" opportunities from others by not going on the hunt - and not notifying CDFW ahead of time.
