12 year old Ryan Cavanaugh the son of Capt. Pat & Gina Cavanaugh of the sportfisher PACIFIC DAWN nailed his first pig up north of Paso Robles.
<
Ryan got straight A’s and instead of giving him a new video game, etc. Pat took him Hog hunting. Great choice!
<
He stoned it with one shot from his .243 cal. I have hunted birds with Ryan and he can nail them too.

nice first pig Ryan...that's really cool that a 12-year old gave up a video game to spend some time with Dad in the field. I have two young buys and can't wait for that opportunity. thanks for sharing.

Congrats Ryan. Nice job on the whackin' the hog.

Ryan: If a hog weighs 200 lbs. or more, is it called a cow?

The memories from that trip will last longer than any video game! (Well may not longer than Ms. Pacman) But way to go Ryan!

Congratulations Ryan on a job well done! Keep those grades up. With your smarts and the knowledge gained from being an outdoorsman, you're already far more intelligent than a majority of your classmates. Keep it up and learn to share your passion with your friends.

Way to go Dad!

Good job dad.
