Dan, we've all enjoyed your posts in the game cam forum (or was it the WT forum?) from last fall. I could not believe the quality of the bucks you were onto and also could not believe the heights you were perched at, to get those pics. I kinda thought you were going to come up with something big in the shed hunting season. It is a shame that buck met with some kind of untimely end but I believe that it happens way more than we think. There just aren't a lot of guys crawling thru the briars looking for the treasures out there. The good news is, his genes are in the herd and his rack found it's way into the hands of someone deserving of it (you). Ohio has some awesome genes. Interesting you mentioned the beetles. I think that's what cleaned off that one I picked up last week. Thanks for sharing those pics of an awesome Ohio whitetail.
