Mulies, I will definetly send you a photo of my mount. My taxidermist/hunting buddy charged me $400. I saw a Javelina rug mount somewhere on this site, it looked pretty cool too. I will try to find it and send it over. I have one at the taxidermist getting done now.
What unit will you be hunting?
That Mtn. goat was insane! Did he get that with archery equip? Can't wait to take one of those down....

OH YEAH. I LOVE THE RUG MOUNT. HOW MUCH DID YOURS COST? SHOOT ME A PIC OF THAT TOO WHEN YOU GET IT BACK.

I AM HUNTING UNIT A. I WILL BE IN A 2002 DODGE PICKUP. KINDA GOLD/TAN IN COLOR. BOWHUNTER SHOOTING PIG IN BACK WINDOW. DO YOU THINK YOU WILL MAKE IT OUT THERE?

THE GOAT RANKS #17 IN THE WORLD AND #1 IN UTAH. IT WILL BE ON DISPLAY THIS WEEK AT THE SPORTSMANS EXPO. I DONT REMEMBER IF HE TOLD ME WHAT WEAPON WAS USED TO TAKE IT. I WILL FIND OUT.

ALSO ON THE GOAT. I WAS AT CABELAS TONIGHT AND ABOUT CHOKED WHEN I SAW THE FULL BODY MTN GOAT THEY HAVE. IT WAS ALMOST 1/3 OF THE SIZE OF THE ONE POSTED ABOVE. I HAVE SEEN THESE CRITTERS ALOT BUT USUALLY FROM A DISTANCE. NOW I REALIZE JUST HOW BIG THAT THING REALLY IS.

CHECK OUT THE DRIED CACTUS CORE THAT IS ON THE BASE OF MY MOUNT. THAT STUFF IS ALL OVER THE PLACE DOWN THERE. IF YOU WANTED I COULD GRAB YOU SOME AND BRING IT HOME. THEN I COULD SHIP IT TO YOU. LET ME KNOW IF YOU ARE INTERESTED.

THE MOUNT IS VERY NICE THOUGH. I LIKE THE FACT THAT YOU CAN SET IT ON A SHELF OR HANG IT.

I'm sure you'll get into them next week. Hell all you have to do is find one decent size herd (7-10 pigs) and that oughta keep you busy all week.
I saw that you asked for some tips on the mule deer post. Shoot any ques. you might have over. I've hunted to San Carlos a total of 11 years (should be there now on my 12th

) came home empty handed only twice. I'll tell you all I know.
As for the cactus I have my brother bringing some home thanks anyway, I appreciate it.

OK HERE IS THE LATEST ON THE SAN CARLOS EPISODE.

NOTICED ON MY CREDIT CARD STATEMENT THAT I HAVE BEEN DOUBLE BILLED ON MY JAVELINA TAG. I FAXED THE STATEMENT TO SAN CARLOS AND THEY SAID THEY HAD TO VERIFY THAT THE CHARGES CAME FROM THEIR OFFICE. THEY ALSO TOLD ME THEY WOULD MAIL THE REFUND. PAST EXPERIENCE SHOWS THAT DOESNT HAPPEN. I TOLD THEM I WANTED A REFUND ON MONDAY WHEN I PICKED UP MY TAG. SHE SAID SHE WAS NOT CERTAIN HOW LONG THE REFUND WOULD TAKE.

REMEMBER THE CONFIRMATION THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE MAILED TO ME? I GOT IT TODAY WITH MY NAME AND ADDRESS HOWEVER IT IS ALSO ADDRESSED TO SOMEONE ELSE ENTIRELY FOR A COMPLETLY DIFFERENT HUNT. THIS MAY BE THE LAST TIME I EVER DEAL WITH SAN CARLOS. I DONT THINK THEY HAVE DONE A SINGLE THING RIGHT YET.
