jsjthernandez...that was my first trip out there and I got there at noon so I am not sure if it would have been different early in the a.m. But I didn't see a single quail or dove. No sign of Turkey's either. I of course only spent three hours there and it is a very big place. My thinking right now is water, if there isn't any I have a hard time thinking there will be much of anything there. This is just my two cents. It looked like great country and there may be quail in there I just didn't come across any. I would still like to check it out when I am able to get there early. There was a lot of coyote sign every where and there are in there eating something so who knows. I just can't give any real sound advice with the limited time I was in there. If you do end up going hopefully you can post up what you find. Good luck!
